From the 17 Feb I shall be back online full time - oh the joys!I have so missed being able to access the trusty old Internet whenever I wanted to.

Just another quickie......sorry xx

Thanks for the stop. I posted that because right now the world is full of people who find other various people evil. They believe them to be truly evil. I don't think that a person can be completly evil or good. I think that the world exist in shades of grey. Also that we need to understand that it works both ways. If by your morals a man is evil, but by his morals you are evil. Then who is correct? An example is who we see as terrorist may very well be a freedom fighter to other people. It is a question that needs deep thought, and has no simple answer.

dnr - in an Internet cafe at the moment and came over all queer at all the instructions....... Think I might have to have a lie down! Will try when in the comfort of my own place or even the library...

c-dell - I understand what you're saying. Interestingly in the UK we have a situation with Ireland that has been going on for centuries like that. We are supposed to think of certain action groups as terrorists. They believe thety are fighting for their freedom. Actually in truth it's been going on for so long noone really knows what the 'fight' started out as and for anyway. All I know is that is keeps going and is still tearing people apart.Religious 'wars' are full of discrepancies. Mind you, you are talking to a Welshwoman who knows only too well the results of terrorism......

I have never understood why the words "religion" and "war" go together so often. It honestly is one of those things in the world that I can make absolutely no sense of whatsoever!! (my apologies about the poorly constructed sentence- I was a bit passionate there for a minute).

LP - I hope you get the oppportunity of travelling to Europe, maybe you have already. The history we have here is very interesting especially when it comes to religion and wars. You see religion for centuries wasn't actually religious. Just another corporate company. All about wealth and power over the masses. Fact I'm afraid. And for me the Catholic church is still brandishing that banner.... And look at Thailand, you don't have to be religious to be a monk, they're mostly criminals and heroin addicts.... And don't get me started on Richard The Loinheart and his Holy Wars. Nothing Holy about them and not for the reason you are probably thinking. Richard had been in love with his cousin the French King and decided to leave the country after a lovers tiff. Of course the general populus at the time, and history, were not supposed to know that Richard was homosexual and it was best to say how brave he was and had a strong spin on it by saying it was for God. 'King' John wasn't quite as he has been depicted in current stories, but that's spin for ya......Yep I get passionate too.....
