The eagle has landed
Dear All
Flew into Heathrow, London yesterday, very tired, and a bit sad.
CJ picked me up from the airport and to hear all the English accents was a bit odd. It had become 'normal' to hear American accents. Oh and I really loved Charlie's Tennessee accent.
Suffering from jet lag, always do the next day. Will catch up tomorrow
Back to collapse in a heap for a while right now........see ya.....xxx

Tan- just to comment on a comment of yours on a different blog:
Us Americans don't always say happy holidays, in fact, the news programs I watched on Christmas day all said Merry Christmas at the end of them. Speaking personnally, the only time I say happy holidays is when I am speaking (or blogging) to a stranger and I am not sure of their religious beliefs- better to be safe than sorry, I guess! To you I'll say, Merry Christmas!

I Hope that you enjoyed your stay in the States. Did you go to or pass through Louisiana?

“…heading my was…” I can’t wait to see what you have to say about the mid west.
God Bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Americans are lucky, aren't they? You and Margo and I try constantly not to murder the Queen's English; whereas, Americans have no such concern about their President's 'English'. After all, what can one do to "nookyuhlar"?
