rent a man
If I can face going into the wardrobe in the spare room, these are the shoes I want to wear tomorrow.
2 things might stop me;
a) It's likely to be pouring down with torrential rain and they are a lovely soft suede
b) The mice were in the wardrobe and the Rat Man doesn't come back til Thursday morning and even with disposable latex gloves I simply can't face going into places that have yet to be reclaimed.
OH GOD I NEED A MAN........
praps I could rent one .......

Okay, it WOULD be nice to have a man around to rid our homes of little critters(live or dead!), but some times it's nice to be single! Come over and see today's post for one such time!

a - I think it would be good to have had a man here to sort the mice lodgers, the flooding garage and ruined stored furniture, papaerwork etc, and just hug me every so often.
On the other hand I just love being single most of the time; bed all to myself, the remote all to myself, pyjamas on as soon as I get home...

Wish I could help you with that if I live across the road... but across the globe... well, other shoes might be a good choice for now until the rat man comes by.

I always thought I would like to have a wife... then I read Martha Stewart and decided that I really want a STAFF... Rent-A-Man would be an interesting business. Imagine the categories!
I’ve been working more and more on photography, trying to learn the technical and business stuff I should know but don't (which is a lot), developing a line of postcards and greeting cards, and trying to get organized. As a result, blogging has been on the back burner.
I think of you, now and then sneak a quick look at your blog and what’s happening, but for the most part haven’t been doing a lot of reading or commenting.
Here we're about to celebrate Thanksgiving. Husband and I will be driving to New York to visit our son and other relatives. 'See you again when we return!
Great shoes, by the way. I'd brave the rodents to get to those.

Like Imran - wish I could help. Sometimes I think my wife would like to rent me out just to get me out of her hair. You and her should talk. LOL!!!
On a selfish side, you should swing through the mid west, preferably Indianapolis... What dates are you looking at for being state side?

dnr - I was hoping to get out Stateside before Christmas but as I had a few problems at work that isn't going to happen. So I guess late Jan, early Feb. Hmmm what kind of weather will the Mid West have then???
